..sounds alot like what we were talking about on here a few weeks ago in terms of finding an alternative to the incumbents.
Probably just co-incidence.

08 Mar 2009 Jericoa | If i were a conspriracy theorist i would say getting the rather dodgy (as far as I can make out) sir Paul do a half baked version of the idea that poped up here briefly afew weeks ago would be a sure fire way to strangle it at birth and in so doing ensure such a concept does not threaten the Tories chances. If it was done properly you could, in effect have an 'alterative election'
You would probably get more people voting on the net than in reality now for a parallel poll if it was done right...
We can dream...

17 Mar 2009 Rahere | Paul Judge was the heir apparent to Sir Adrian Cadbury, but divorced Dominic Cadbury's daughter, which put him out of the running. He then teamed up with Cadbury's Treasurer Martin Bralsford to MBO the Cadbury Foods division, which became Premier Brands. Martin was last heard of in tax exile in Jersey, accepted on the basis of Rahere's recommendation, and Paul went on to head Food From Britain. He's been lying fairly dormant for about the last five years. The result is that Cadbury's is now headed by his former acolyte Todd Stitzer. And my God' he's put on more weight than Rahere!

21 May 2009 Jury Team | Jericoa - firstly the Jury Team was set up last year and launched on 8th March - 12 weeks ago,(see: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/politics/article5864530.ece) which not only proves that we are not a Tory spoiler but also that we were way-ahead of our time when it comes to cleaning up politics and championing independent MPs and MEPs.

22 May 2009 Jericoa | Jury Team,
Glad to hear it and on that basis I wish you the very best, you have to admit a healthy degree of cynicism is required for any new organisation in the political sphere. I really do hope you are who you say you are and I am willing to forgive the past misdemeanours of your creator and give you a chance within the confines of my ever questioning and cynical gaze.
Recruiting high profile and respected celebs for your cause will help a lot.
Will Joanna be joing too?
It is, unfortunately, in the age of celebrity what you will need to do to get broader attension, you need celebs jury team, coverage in hello or heat magazine.
Capture its power and use it to effect change for the greater good but do not get corrupted by it in so doing..that is the hard part as labour found out when it jumped into bed with the banks and is now waking up to the realisation it has caught something very very nasty indeed.
Good luck.
Jericoa
